LET’S TALK ABOUT DECEMBER!

Reminiscing about last December, I can’t help but share how sweet it was to spend my first holiday away from home.

It started with a photoshoot session I had booked with @eyitayo_photography via Instagram. I remember booking a session two weeks before my shoot not sure of what exactly I wanted for my birthday. Still, I am happy to say working with Tayo was amazing and the shots came out beyond my expectations.

December 7, 2023, came with memories I cannot forget. I celebrated my Jordan year with the most amazing set of people. Even though my birthday dinner was impromptu and small, it felt so good hosting my friends. I feel tempted to celebrate my birthday more than once a year (lol 🤭). Afterward, it was time to round off a semester after eleven weeks of lectures. It was a time we all looked forward to as Christmas was approaching, but it didn’t feel like a holiday. The end of lectures meant the countdown to the submission of over 16,000+ words, and 4 course works, and we had only one month before the deadlines began 🤦‍♀️.

So, was it a holiday for me? Yes, it was!

Although I still had to complete my assessments, I had the most beautiful two-week holiday in London. It was the getaway I needed from being a student. I visited family and friends, and met a few public figures like Solomon Buchi, and my favorite gospel artist; Limoblaze. Also, I made new friends and created memories while sleeping & eating a lot. It was a December to remember!

Thinking through 2023 as a whole, I am grateful for the memorable experiences it brought me. 2023 was a good year, and I look forward to 2024 being a great year. On this note, I am wishing you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
